How to win design work with the Idaho DOT
Check the Idaho Transportation Department's Consultant Services page for open project solicitations and links to closed ones. Review the project scope and submission instructions, then tailor your qualifications and past project examples to the work requested. ITD may select consultants through individual project solicitations or from its pre-approved list on the Term Agreements page, so check that page when seeking term agreement work.
For federally funded A/E work, federal rules require qualifications-based selection under the Brooks Act. Lead with your team's relevant qualifications and approach. DBE program requirements apply to ITD federally funded or DOT-assisted design and construction projects, and federal-aid contracts may have DBE goals. Check each solicitation for applicable requirements.
