Hiring notes for firm owners
Graduates of this program finish an EAC-accredited civil engineering degree, which is the standard education path to the FE exam and a PE license in every state. That makes them straightforward EIT hires for firms working in Hawaii.
ABET has accredited the program since 1951, so alumni from it are likely already working at agencies and firms around Honolulu. Alumni already on your staff are the easiest way into its career fairs and capstone projects.
The statewide median wage for civil engineers in Hawaii is $94,280 (BLS OEWS May 2025). Entry offers usually sit well below the median; see the Hawaii salary page and the salary by role guide to set them.
