Reinforced concrete

Reinforced concrete combines concrete with embedded reinforcement to resist structural effects. Design considers material properties, member geometry, reinforcement placement, durability, and construction requirements. The design and detailing are specific to the project and applicable codes. Field placement and inspection follow project documents and the responsibilities assigned to qualified parties.

Why it matters for owners

Concrete scope affects drawings, sequencing, inspection coordination, and construction quality records.
