Directory profiles
Each firm profile is compiled from public sources: the firm's own website and announcements, public filings, and government records such as USAspending recipient records, Department of Labor Form 5500 datasets, state licensing board rosters and state DOT prequalification lists. Every fact on a profile links to its source and shows the date the source was read. Sections with no published data are left off the profile.
Revenue appears only where a firm has filed or published it. Ranking lists are cited by list name and year only.
Ownership tags
Profiles are tagged Employee-owned (ESOP), Private equity backed, Family-owned or Independent / other ownership. A tag is applied only when a primary announcement, filing or the firm's own pages support it. Where no ownership is published, the profile shows "Ownership not published" and no tag is guessed.
Neutral presentation
Profiles are informational. They do not rank firms or state that any firm is best, safe or superior. A listing is not an endorsement.
Statistics and resources
Industry figures are labeled with their source and linked to the original data. Definitions and reference periods differ between sources, so figures are not presented as directly comparable.
Calculators
Calculators use the assumptions you enter. They do not supply valuation multiples or market benchmarks. Each tool shows a worked example scenario with hypothetical inputs. Results are estimates for planning and education, not appraisals, forecasts or recommendations.
Professional boundaries
This site provides general business information. It does not provide engineering, legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Licensed professional judgment and local codes govern engineering work.
